Materials Design and Testing

Our key areas of expertise include Alloy design and Thermo mechanical heat treatments of metallic materials including range of steels to light metals including Aluminum, Magnesium, Titanium and Super alloys. We have experience in handing material sample preparation techniques such as CNC cutting, EDM wire cutting, water jet cutting, laser cutting, grinding and polishing techniques.

 

We have extensive experience in performing range of material characterization techniques as ISO and ASTM standards.

Mechanical Testing: Tensile, Compression, Hardness (Macro, Micro and Nano), Impact Toughness (Charpy, Izod), Bending, Creep and Fatigue, Fracture toughness testing.

Microstructural Characterization: Optical microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Electron Backscattered Diffraction, Transmission Electron microscopy
